Why this topic?

Research shows that our society is becoming too risk averse. It is important that both children and adults have opportunities to take risks… and not just in a physical sense! Often this risk averse attitude is a result of fear – fear of litigation, fear of injury or failure, fear of the unknown. This workbook aims to allay some of those fears, empowering educators to take risks and encourage risk taking in children!
